My Ypsilanti Township journey began as a West Willow Elementary second grader in 1976. The school is no longer there but the education, values, and passion for Ypsi it inspired never left me. My parents retired from the GM Powertrain plant that followed The Bomber Plant. That factory of Rosie the Riveter fame, founded by Henry Ford created the modern day Ypsilanti Township. The workers built "A Bomber an Hour", then helped "Detroit put the World on Wheels". Those days are long gone. The world has changed. Ypsilanti Township is still here. I'm thankful for its rich history and incredibly excited and grateful to help lead it forward!

Ypsilanti Township residents deserve competency in their representatives. I've been working in Housing, Health, and Law Enforcement, the important Washtenaw County conversations the last 8 years. Ypsilanti Township leadership has been absent in those discussions. That's incompetence.
